Shinji Mikami, the mind behind Resident Evil, will be forming a new
studio, Tango, after finishing Vanquish for PlatinumGames and publisher
SEGA. The information comes to us in the latest issue of Japanese
video game magazine Famitsu, spotted by 1UP. What's it all about? Well,
Mikami just wants to help the next generation, saying:
"about three years" before Tango releases its first game. He also hopes
that the company, now at 13 employees, will grow to around 100 in
three to five years.
Vanquish will be released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in late
